Hi, I’m Richard!

Originally from the Midwest, I moved to Portland with my husband in 2014. Having an aunt and a grandfather as hairdressers, I spent a lot of time in the salon growing up, knowing it’s what I wanted to do with my life. Beyond beauty school, I’ve prioritized education with a variety of international brands and private artists alike. It’s very important for me to keep learning so I’m able to bring my full potential to everybody that sits in my chair.

I have 8 years of experience behind the chair, and I specialize in dimensional blonding and lived-in color. Whether it be a bright summery blonde, creating depth in a rich brunette, or camouflaging greys with highs and lows, I aim to keep things soft and believable. I love creating tousled texture with movement and versatility for low-maintenance, high quality hair on the go. I strive for optimal hair health and integrity, creating shine and longevity. Keeping communication open and honest, I want to create a clear path to help you feel your absolute best!

As far as my interests outside of my career, I love all things design. I can always talk about interiors, especially my soft spot for lighting. In my off-time, I love moseying around all of the great vintage clothing stores that Portland has to offer. I also really enjoy ceramics, textiles, objects for the home, and the plethora of amazing locally made goods. I am a huge advocate of supporting local business, and I’d love to chat with you about my favorites!
